Dear Francis,

While sitting in our living room the other night, we realized that we had neglected to express our appreciation for the work you had done building our home.

There are few instances in ones life when a project of such magnitude becomes an all consuming obsession. However, throughout the planning, preparation and construction of our house, you provided us with patience, guidance, and a conscientious attention to doing things right which is seldom encountered in this day and age. In the little time it took for an empty space to become a gem of wood and glass, you showed us your sincere intention to produce our dream as we had envisioned it. Through it all, we never had reason to question your work, judgement or the cost. While living in our house during the last four years, never had we had the opportunity to be less than happy with the house that Francis built.

You didn't help us build a house, you helped us build a home. We always beam with pride whenever we show off this beautiful house we have the privilege of living in . We still day dream of a time when we will have the opportunity to build another house but only if we can get you to help us.
